Creation as a Catalyst.

Discovering Passion.

Passion lies in the abstraction, an unknown far from reach, a place my feet have yet to fully discover. Ever changing and capricious, passion becomes what you will it to be. It can be a zephyr that obscures my path with leaves, fragments of who I’d overcome. Or, passion can be a guide, a marker of the direction I’m supposed to embark. I shall not acquiesce on my pilgrimage. Rather, I shall push forth, through leaves trodden by steps with infinite potential.

Discovering Inspiration.

Inspiration all begins with a single step. A single step that becomes a summation of steps, a culmination of where I’ve arrived from. No singular step meant to define the previous or the next, and only serves as the individual vestige of my journey. A journey laid only by myself, requisite of nothing aside from my own feet, my own story. I think of my life as a creator as a summation of steps, a culmination of where I hope to arrive.

Poems.

  • Acquiescing, his eyes gave way

To a saccharine poison the smile veiled

    And I happily bathed beneath.

  • The soul seeks absolution

    A nihility devoid of requiem

Of times reaching to a bliss

That refracts through a corporeal lens.

  • An arbitrary existence

    Amongst a sea of complexity

    Suspended in monotonous perpetuity

    Chained by predisposed circumstances

    And starved of identity…

    SHATTER AND DEVOUR.

  • Last week, I dreamt of your journey.

You traveled to a place on air-lined soles,

Embracing its cold in an escape from the warmth.

Last night, I dreamt that you departed.

Leaving behind your memories and smiles in words,

Seemingly distant reverberations on fragile, stained glass.

    Your memories escaping through cracks,

    Desperately strewn together by tears.

Tonight, I dream that you lived

Your smile breathing warmth into the boreal of life,

An aurora that shines no more without you.

It is for that, I peacefully acquiesce to this pilgrimage.

For tomorrow, I dream that I’ll join you.

    Into your journey to Niflheim,

    Your dream of death.

  • They danced like sticks upon the pyre,

Shedding layers beneath its magnanimous gaze,

Leaving not an ember of self,

Whilst they were torn asunder by the flame.
